“I Am Hungry”- Jake Paul Sends a Stern Message to Anderson Silva
Jake Paul, 4-0, may not be done facing former MMA champions in the boxing ring, especially after a callout towards Anderson Silva. However, the social media star didn’t choose to trash-talk the Brazilian legend. Instead, he hailed ‘Spider’ and claimed himself to be a fan of the legendary fighter. He even hinted at having mutual respect with the former UFC middleweight champion.
But all of it didn’t stop Jake Paul from boasting his in-ring superiority over Anderson Silva. Having seen Silva’s last two wins against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Tito Ortiz, Paul believes he can offer a much tougher challenge.
In a chat with ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, ‘The Problem Child’ shed views on a potential scrap against Silva, sending several fans into a frenzy.
Jake Paul said, “I have a lot of respect for Anderson [Silva]. He is an MMA legend. I was a fan of his growing up. He has said nothing but nice things about me. So, there’s mutual respect there. Anderson has done great against Tito Ortiz and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. but I am not that. I am not those guys. I am fast, I am explosive, I am young, I am hungry and I am only getting exponentially better every single day in the gym.”
Meanwhile, ex-UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has also claimed to have fallen in love with the sweet science. So, we can expect him to stick around the sport for some more time. And it can possibly stage him against Jake Paul somewhere down the line. But Paul has grabbed many more call-outs and he might have a lot of business to handle before meeting Silva.

What’s next for Jake Paul ?
Despite vanquishing Tyron Woodley via split decision, Paul looked weak in his latest bout. It evoked many to call him out, including Vitor Belfort, who has just beaten Evander Holyfield via 1stround KO in a recent Triller main-event. Besides, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury is also rumored to be facing Paul next.
Both men had a back and forth after their respective wins in the same fight card on August 29 at Cleveland. So, Jake Paul can possibly materialize that option. It leaves with him some smart decisions to make and only then we can expect ‘The Problem Child’ to come with an official confirmation.
