
Espn raises Pay-per-view again
The cost of becoming a UFC fan will now increase.
The Sports Business Journal reported that the UFC’s pay-per-view pricing will rise once again, from $74.99 to $79.99. This most recent price rise, which began in 2022 but was first seen in 2022, will begin in January 2023 with UFC 283.
The rise, according to Disney, “reflects the value of ESPN+ and the popularity and quality of UFC events,” the article states.

When the ESPN partnership first began in 2019, an MMA fan would have to spend $839.75 over the course of a year if they purchased all 13 pay-per-view events in addition to the monthly fee. If the price of an ESPN+ membership doesn’t increase for the full year, that total would be $1159.75 in 2023.
The UFC has been a tremendously well-liked and wildly successful franchise, as Disney said. The UFC currently earns over $1 billion annually, according to statistics, and is predicted to continue increasing.
