Demetrious Johnson will face Rodtang Jitmuangnon at One: X on December 5. As announced by the CEO of One Championship, Chatri Sidyatong, in a conversation with Ariel Helwani, this unique cross-breed matchup will surely excite combat fans all around the globe.
The MMA veteran has a new challenge against Jitmuangnon. The bout is distributed in two rounds of MMA and two rounds of Muay Thai.
Being a veteran Johnson made his name once more by defeating three of the top flyweight contenders in Asia at One. However, he lost his last match by KO in round 2 against Adriano Moraes. Although he being a skilled fighter in MMA, it’s not easy to outclass Rodtang Jitmuangnon, especially in Muay Thai. To beat the ‘Iron Man’ Johnson has to make his skill work in the MMA rounds.
Following the fight, Rodtang the ‘Iron Man’ Jitmuangnon, who is one of the deadliest stickers in the world has also got many possibilities on winning the scrap. Currently, the Thai warrior is undefeated in the flyweight division at One. Besides his sheer ability to take punishments, he will make it difficult for Johnson to knock him out. To defeat one of the best in the business Jitmuangnon has to show his skills in the Muay Thai rounds. Defeating Johnson will make his resume more strong and still be called undefeated.
